Do you sometimes feel as if you are living on borrowed energy?

It could be your Gut Microbiome!

Your microbiome is the living community of organisms that reside in your digestive tract and interacts with everything: your digestion, brain, hormones, immune system, inflammatory signals, nutrient status, energy production, stress chemistry, blood cell formation, and your emotional landscape.

Not only that, but your immune system mostly lives in your gut, and when it takes a hit, you can’t bounce back easily.

Your nervous system also suffers, making you feel as if you are living in a world that isn’t safe.

In a very real way, it is, because your Microbiome is in danger.

And when this internal environment is unstable, inflamed, depleted, or stripped of its natural intelligence, your body stays on high alert, reactive, and exhausted.

The good news is that with a little bit of extra care, you begin to feel better every day.

Did you know that your gut microbiome can become more like the microbiomes of the people you spend the most time with?

Your biology is influenced by your environment, which includes other humans and pets.

Research increasingly shows that people who live together, share meals, kitchens, microbes, and daily rhythms, become more biologically similar than genetics alone would predict.

Shared environments and close contact matter.

So, if you are constantly surrounded by people who eat and live carelessly, overuse antibiotics or ultra-processed foods, don’t rest or rebuild, and treat the body like an afterthought, then yes, it is very possible that your Microbiome is affected.

And this brings me to one of my favourite teachings called staying in your lane.

Your digestion is your lane, and it’s precious.

Your body is not here to be everybody else’s dumping ground!

Your gut belongs to you.

What We Lost over time.

Since the 1950s, humans have been handed antibiotics like lollies.

Women have taken contraceptives with very little discussion about long-term gut ecology.

Babies are born into increasingly sterile environments and often given antibiotics prophylactically.

Food became less alive.

Soil contact was eliminated, and antibacterial hand sanitiser was encouraged.

These chemicals enter the bloodstream through the skin of your hands and begin killing off your microbes.

Fermented foods were replaced by ultra-processed substitutes.

And then everyone wondered why anxiety rose, immunity weakened, allergies exploded, and chronic fatigue became normal.

We didn’t just lose minerals, we lost our innermost village of microbes, our invisible “old friends” that train our immune systems and help our nervous systems feel safe.

And now we are living through the consequences.

Antibiotics can be lifesaving, and I will never demonise something that has saved lives.

But we must become adults about the trade-offs.

Antibiotics do not only kill “the bad guys”.

They are scorched earth for the ecosystem.

Your microbiome can take many years to recover after antibiotics.

Sometimes, certain strains never return unless you actively rebuild them.

If you do nothing, your microbiome does not automatically become diverse again just because years pass.

You need inputs from seeding and feeding your gut.

Let me bring this to life with a real human story.

Lucille was forty when she came to Pete.

She had been living with chronic diarrhoea for years.

Not mild discomfort, but relentless, debilitating diarrhoea that went straight through her, leaving her exhausted, undernourished, and unable to work.

She had been everywhere, seen everyone, and tried everything, in her own words.

Nothing had helped.

Pete conducted a Full Health Audit, and what he found was heartbreaking.

Lucille had ‘leaky gut,’ and her white cells in the blood were negligible, which meant that her immune system was struggling.

On top of that, her bile was barely flowing.

This matters more than most people realise.

Your bile is not just for fat digestion.

It acts as a natural sterilising and regulating agent in the gut.

It also neutralises the hydrochloric acid coming down from the stomach.

When bile is not flowing properly, stomach acid pours into the small intestine unchecked, where it does not belong.

Lucille’s intestines had effectively been bathed in acid for years.

No wonder her body couldn’t cope.

Pete supported her with the Ultimate Vitality Boost, which includes Beetflow to restore bile flow, Omnizyme to support digestion, and Immuno-Synbiotic Restore to rebuild microbial terrain, alongside Iodine, a vital trace mineral for gut and immune function.

Within one month, Lucille told Pete she had “found the cure”.

Of course, it wasn’t a cure in the fairy-tale sense, her digestive system had corrected itself.

Her stomach acid is now doing its job in the stomach, and not in her intestines.

Her bile flows again like a gentle rain, calming the constant low-level inflammation that had been burning her microbiome.

The relief was profound!

Let me give you a Simple Roadmap to Restore YOUR Microbiome

1. Seed the Gut

Introduce beneficial organisms and encourage diversity.

2. Feed the Gut

Microbes don’t survive without food; eat more.

  • Healthy fats: meat fat, coconut oil, macadamia oil, butter, ghee
  • Proteins: meats, eggs, activated nuts, sprouted seeds
  • Fermented foods.

3. Calm the Gut

A stressed nervous system reshapes digestion.

  • Magnesium, nature’s circuit breaker
  • Energy Healing sessions at the Purple House
  • Morning sunlight
  • Reducing late-night stimulation
  • Nervous system regulation practices,
  • Warm magnesium baths, meditation, yoga, gentle movements
  • Supportive formulations such as Calm Nature

4. Rewild the Gut

This is the part people forget.

  • Soil contact through gardening
  • Nature exposure
  • Time with animals
  • Eating your own fermented foods
  • Boost your mineral intake with healthy salt
  • Seed the gut with spore probiotics or a capsule that withstands the stomach acid and empties in the gut.

5. Protect the Lane

This is the stay in your lane piece.

  • Reduce unnecessary antibiotics
  • Be informed about medications that alter gut ecology
  • Choose relationships and environments that support life rather than drain it
  • Stop using antibacterial soaps and wipes
  • Reduce synthetic fragrances like perfumes and scented candles
  • Avoid harsh chemicals

Your microbiome is not a side issue.

  • It is your power supply.
  • Your emotional chemistry.
  • Your immune intelligence.
  • Your resilience.
  • And your relationship with life itself.

When you restore it, life stops feeling borrowed — and starts feeling like it belongs to you again.
