Every week Pete and I are presented with problems to solve.
I am talking about depression, gut issues, skin issues, joint pain, back pain, migraines, cancer, inflammation, you name it.
Take Diane for instance,
She suffered from depression and anxiety.
When I asked her: “Tell me what caused your depression?” she didn’t have an answer.
That is quite normal.
We have asked 1000’ s of clients over the years questions like: “What could have caused your heart disease? Any idea why you have cancer? Why do you have dandruff? What could have triggered your diabetes?”
Nobody can answer those questions.
But ignorance isn’t bliss.
Most of our clients have been from pillar to post with their issues, spent thousands of dollars, and wasted years of precious living by the time they enter our facilities.
Simply giving them a pill or a supplement for their problem doesn’t cut it for us, so after we listen to their story we usually begin with some education.
Knowledge = power.
Knowledge applied (which means our client follows our recommendations) = wisdom and wisdom = happiness.
We discovered that when our clients really start to take responsibility for their own health, their energy begins to shift.
As they start to understand the reason for their illness/problem miracles begin to happen.
So a huge part of our job is educating and informing our audience about health and supplements that we have researched and tried ourselves, with consistent success.
It’s the reason we keep doing Facebook lives and pumping out articles.
Let me go back to Diane.
Depression is a condition that can affect your appetite and sleeping patterns.
It negatively affects the way you feel about yourself.
It also affects the ways you process information and emotions.
“Depression isn’t a sign of personal weakness Diane,” I said to my client after taking down her history.
“I feel like you have disconnected from your passions in life, and you have lost sight of your own personal journey and life purpose. What do you do for fun? When was the last time you felt real peace? What makes you happy?” I continued to press Diane for answers.
Diane shook her head.
She didn’t have an answer to these questions either, but she promised she was going to spend time reflecting on them.
“I think the last time I felt truly confident and alive was when I was a teenager. I would have been around 14. I looked in the mirror and just felt so beautiful, as if I could conquer the world. But, I haven’t felt like that for many decades.” She finishes with a sigh.
Diane had been taking antidepressants and a variety of medications for years, but it was obvious they weren’t doing the trick.
We continued the session by engaging her subconscious mind.
Our subconscious mind oversees our health, wealth, our immune system, and our energies.
In short, it rules our lives.
It also contains the secrets and solutions to our problems.
I got Diane to relax in a comfy chair (we were doing a remote session over the phone) and immediately received information about her mother.
While Diane had been growing inside her mother’s womb, her nervous system had received programming from her mother, who had issues with anxiety, nervousness, overwhelm, and low self-worth as I discovered.
This energy had imprinted itself on Diane’s stomach (making her want to eat excessive sugar and sweets), nervous system (making her feel overly sensitive), and her heart center (making it hard to believe in herself)
This was only the first layer.
As usual, there were many layers to peeling back the onion of the past.
Some of the destructive energies that we inherit at conception go back many generations.
To complete a healing session, I often have to explore the ancestry line and look for emotional scars of war, starvation, slavery, imprisonment, heartbreak, sexual abuse, betrayal, or exploitation and then I check for the emotional reactions and consequences to these traumas.
Often there is a ripple effect across many generations and my intention as a healer is to heal it today.
Where possible, I educate my client on these aspects.
“Do you know what was going on for your mum while she was pregnant with you?” I ask Diane.
“No, not really”. She replied.
“Where did your parents live? Were they happy together? What could have been chaotic for her at the time? What sort of circumstances could have challenged your mum’s self-worth and confidence?”
“It might be good for you to get some answers. Perhaps you can ask your auntie. It feels as if your mum’s depression and ‘feeling out of control’ imprinted itself on your neurotransmitters, and numbed them, so you find it hard to experience joy and feel alive today”.
When it comes to doing energy work, we don’t have to know all the answers, but I like to help my clients understand that their current situation didn’t start with them.
I encourage every client to heal their issues today rather than pass them on to their offspring.
Every day is a chance to start over.
I dissolved Diane’s energy blocks and recommended some dietary changes.
She had to eat a lot more healthy fats.
Our nervous system is largely made up of saturated fats, so she had to start eating 2 or 3 tablespoons of coconut oil or butter per day.
Diane felt much lighter and hopeful after her first session.
Since then, she has gone ahead in leaps and bounds.
She realised that if she didn’t create a new foundation for her life, no one else would.
And she was ready to do what it took.
She never wanted to feel depressed again.
The biggest thrill for me was to see how Diane began trusting in her own body, intuition, and inner wisdom.
The more she trusted in her own abilities to heal, and to make the right decisions, the more confident she became.
