Linda sits across from me in my treatment room with her little six-month-old son Angus.
Angus was born by Caesarean and weighed a healthy 9 pounds at birth.
This is the good part.
The bad part comes next: when Linda discovered she couldn’t produce enough breast milk (Angus was born 2 weeks early) and he refused to attach she had to top Angus up with infant formula.
Within days he suffered his first real cold, severe enough for him to have a course of antibiotics.
Since then, he hasn’t been himself.
He not only has a persistent chesty cough but also grizzles a lot and is prone to snotty noses.
He even seems to suffer from anxiety (Linda is worried because her own nervous system isn’t robust) and tends to cling to his mum.
He is a very light sleeper.
It’s almost as if his system is on high alert all the time and won’t allow him to relax.
Linda has heard some good stories about our wellness center.
During the session, I detect energy blockages, mineral imbalances and toxic overloads and correct these instantly with energy frequencies.
I also check which foods he is sensitive to and give Linda a list of items to avoid so his immune system can recover.
This is the first step.
The second step is to educate Linda.
I start with his Microbiome.
She has never heard of it, and I don’t blame her.
Only now do scientists realize that our Microbiome is as important as any other organ in our body.
Your Microbiome is the sum of the microbial life forms in your body.
People think of human bodies as being nothing more than human, but the truth is that every nook and cranny is crawling with trillions of microbes.
We have as many microbial cells inside our body as there are stars outside our body in the sky, in other words, trillions.
Our Microbiome has such an overwhelming influence on our health, our immune system and our nervous system that it is now viewed as an organ.
The fact that it isn’t visible to the human eye doesn’t mean that it is less important or that we can destroy it and live comfortably without it!
Nobody in his right mind would remove an organ like a kidney or a liver in a newborn child unless there is a pressing reason to do so.
But when it comes to our Microbiome we almost have a ‘she’ll be right mate’ attitude.
Little do we know that once all our good bacteria are gone it’s like we have suffered the loss of an organ and our nervous and immune systems are severely compromised from that moment on.
If you are a parent or grandparent, you will be interested to read what I told Linda.
• Angus’s intestines were sterile before birth, while he was submerged in amniotic fluid (so far so good, this is normal).
• Angus was born by CS which meant that he didn’t get the benefit of his mother’s bacteria from the birth canal.
Normally within minutes of a normal vaginal birth the infant’s gastric contents reflect that of the mother’s cervix.
The infant is basically inoculated by the mother’s birth fluids and within just a few hours bacteria begin to appear in the infant’s faeces.
• Breastmilk is usually abundant in bacteria, specifically bifidobacteria.
Bifidobacteria are the dominant strain in infants, representing up to 80% of their gut flora and 25% of adults’ bowel flora.
• Sometimes when babies refuse to attach to the nipple they can smell that the milk is not right.
The baby’s innate intelligence is telling us that they can’t digest it properly, either because they are lacking good bacteria themselves, or because there are proteins in the mum’s diet that they can’t digest properly.
The mother needs to supplement with a product like Immuno-Synbiotic or the Ultimate Vitality Boost package.
• Breastmilk increases the proliferation of Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli, whereas formula-fed babies like Angus produce more Enterococci and Enterobacteria.
• Caesarean babies are found to have lower quantities of Bifidobacteria and are higher in colonies of Clostridium difficile. (Difficile is related to the word difficult, creating great difficulty and distress in the body)
• Premature and hospitalized babies are found to have elevated counts of Clostridium difficile.
• Antibiotics reduce the number of Bifidobacteria and Bacteroides.
Angus ticked almost all the boxes.
I suspected that his gut was full of Clostridium difficile instead of the beneficial microbes.
This Clostridium can lead to the following hardships:
• Diarrhoea
• Vomiting/reflux
• Inflammation of the colon
• Reduced immunity
• Autoimmune conditions
• A compromised gut leads to a compromised brain, creating clinginess and tension.
The Microbiome influences every aspect of brain behaviour.
Hence, Angus is already showing signs of anxiety even though he is only 6 months old.
As you can see Angus’s little health problems were a lot more serious than Linda suspected.
I suggested:
1. A good probiotic supplement like Vital-All-In-One which can be mixed in with his baby formula. This is also a complete food on its own, filled with anti-oxidants and fermented enzymes.
2. Spore Probiotics are like a new generation of Microbiome support (they can be taken while on antibiotics or chemotherapy, without being destroyed.)
3. Immuno-Syntiotic contains Saccharomyces boulardii which helps to overthrow the nasty Clostridium difficile. (Clostridium is prone to set up residence for life by sending out resilient spores that penetrate every part of the organism as it was starting to do in Angus’s case).
4. Lactobacillus reuteri is one of the beneficial microbes. Experts believe that 96% of us have lost this vital microbe.

This microbe is found in many of our products.
Linda had to avoid giving him sugars, fruits and juices because bad bacteria thrive on these.
And rely less on carbohydrates (grain, pasta, cereals) because they turn into sugars.
Instead, she had to introduce coconut oil and other good fats, like butter and meat fats to his diet.
These fats nurture the brain and nervous system and promote good sleep.
Coconut especially has many nutrients comparable to breast milk and it is antiviral, antimicrobial, antifungal and even kills parasites.
With the help of energy healing to boost his immune system and unblock his energy flow, I felt that Angus would recover before too much damage was engraved in his computer.
This is exactly what happened: a month later Angus was so well that Linda decided to use the appointment on herself instead, which was a perfect ending to a challenging chapter of her life.
When we restore our Microbiome, wonderful things begin to happen.
We find it easier to receive love and connection because the release of oxytocin from the brain is boosted.
Wrinkles are smoothed, the skin plumps out, muscles become more youthful (we lose about a third of our muscle as we age), and we begin to experience deep sleep.
Bone density is preserved as well or even restored.
Life becomes so much more enjoyable when you create a super gut!
Start today!
Other than our popular supplements, one of the easiest ways to restore your Microbiome is to make your own yogurt.
Homemade yogurt has 12 times the amount of beneficial microbes compared to its store-bought twin.
