Situated in the midst of the world’s best kept secret, the North West Coast of Tasmania, you will find Tasmania’s best kept secret: the Purple House. This region is known for its beauty, tranquility clean air and water and the Purple House is equally well known for its excellence in natural health care.
In 2000 Peter and Grada Robertson had a vision of opening a small natural health clinic in Forth. Initially they worked part time, while Peter kept down a full time nursing job and Grada had a small scale herb nursery. However the demand for their services grew so rapidly that they soon had to expand and they bought the Purple House in 2005.
Early January 2006 they ran into trouble when Grada was almost fatally injured by a passing truck. This was a major setback. However Peter and Grada proved that there is no greater force in nature than a shared vision and a year later than planned the Purple House was up and running exactly how they had envisioned.
The business skipped all the baby stages and went from toddler to teenager to adult in fast forward. It is now the biggest natural health centre in Tasmania operating with a highly qualified staff of nine people.
They do massage, allergy testing, Bowen, kinergetics, live and dried blood analysis, reflexology, cranio-sacral therapy, voice analysis and urine/saliva/complete health analysis. The therapists take a holistic approach; for instance if a client came with allergies, depression and headaches they would search out the root cause that underlies these problems and change the person’s life, rather than push the symptoms around. The therapists are members of recognised organisations.
Clients travel from Tasmania and abroad to become healthy. Live blood analysis is a great tool because most degenerative diseases can be observed in the blood long before there is a medical diagnosis and this treatment is unique to the Purple House along with the Complete Health Analysis.
The Purple House Indulgence Massage uses Tasmanian skin care products and is perfect for a gift voucher.
