Women are twice as likely as men to have their health concerns dismissed by a GP and this becomes especially painful as we begin to navigate the choppy waters of menopause.

Menopause marks the end of a woman’s reproductive years, typically occurring between ages 45 and 55.

However, changes in your body can be detected as early as age forty, including feeling overwhelmed, triggered ‘for no reason’, forgetful, poor sleep, irregular periods and more.

The primary cause of menopause is the natural decline in estrogen and progesterone levels.

  • Hydration and Mineral Intake: Proper hydration is essential.

Drink one liter of water for every 30 kilograms of body weight daily and add a quarter teaspoon of pure Himalayan salt per liter.

  • Magnesium: This essential mineral helps with stress reduction and hormone regulation.

Start with 200-400 mg per day and adjust based on individual tolerance.

You will know you have had enough once you get diarrhoea, which means you have reached your bowels tolerance limit.

  • Iodine: Crucial for thyroid function and hormonal balance.

Use molecular or colloidal iodine and start with 5 drops per day.

  • Boron: Supports bone health and hormone balance.

Take a couple of pinches of boron in water each day.

  • Liver Support: The liver plays a vital role in detoxifying the body and metabolizing hormones.
