The truth about cholesterol nobody tells you.vd
Did you know that coronary heart disease is responsible for around one in ten deaths in Australia every year?
In 2024 alone, it caused 16,300 deaths.
We have all heard the story.
Someone gets the all clear from the cardiologist one week, and the next week they are gone.
It is heartbreaking, and it is why we want to chat about what is really going on with your heart, and what you can do about it, starting today.
Cholesterol gets blamed for coronary heart disease, and that is why cholesterol lowering drugs like statins are handed out so freely.
But these drugs put a real burden on your liver, and when your liver struggles, your kidneys pick up the slack.
Your kidneys support your heart.
Everything in your body is connected.
Here is the part that changes everything.
Cholesterol is not the problem.
It is the patch, not the fire.
When the inside of an artery becomes inflamed, cholesterol rushes in to smooth things over so blood can keep flowing.
If we keep inflaming that artery, the patches build up and block the road, just like firemen blocking traffic to fight a blaze.
The fire is the real problem.
Not the firemen.
So the real question is not how do we lower cholesterol.
It is: How do we stop the inflammation in the first place?
What is actually causing the fire
Four things do most of the damage.
- Sugar,
- High-starch carbohydrates,
- Fruit sugars,
- Polyunsaturated oils, especially hydrogenated trans fats like margarine.
Philip came to us forgetful, aching, and on statin drugs for high cholesterol.
We took a different approach.
Eggs and bacon for breakfast instead of cereal and bananas/bread.
He ate real food, healthy fats like butter and coconut oils, and his energy started to pick up.
The results speak for themselves.
His cholesterol came under control, his GP took him off the statins, and his memory and mobility improved.
He got his life back.
And then there was Margaret.

Margaret came to us with blood pressure so high it frightened her doctor.
When we looked at her blood under the microscope, her red blood cells were clumped together in clusters, barely able to move through her smallest vessels.
We started her on proper hydration first thing every morning, added magnesium and Beetflow, and had her supporting her digestion with enzymes at every meal.
Within weeks her blood pressure had dropped into a normal range for the first time in years, and when we looked at her blood again, those red cells had separated and were flowing freely.
Her body had simply been waiting for the right support.
Your body converts excess sugar into cholesterol and fat.
When you reduce sugar and high-starch carbohydrates and move towards a ketogenic way of eating; with around fifty percent of your diet made up of healthy fats and oils, you take the pressure off entirely.
Supporting your liver and bile flow with Beetflow.
It helps dilate the biliary ducts so bile can flow properly, which supports digestion and energy production.
Beetflow contains taurine and nitric oxide from red beets, both of which help dilate your blood vessels properly.
Enzymes play a bigger role in heart health than most people realize.
Every meal you eat needs to be properly broken down.
When digestion is incomplete, the proteins in your blood are not processed properly, causing red blood cells to clump together and your blood to thicken, making it harder to flow through your smallest arteries.
A good plant-based enzyme with every meal like Omnizyme, supports proper digestion from the very first bite, easing that load on your whole system.
Then there are systemic enzymes, taken away from food, like serrapeptase, which work differently.
These systemic enzymes work on plaque and scar tissue that has already built up in your arteries over the years, gently breaking it down so your circulatory system can begin to clear and heal.
Beyond supporting digestion and clearing existing plaque, enzymes quietly do some of the most important work in protecting your heart.
Magnesium is essential too.
It relaxes the muscle layers in your blood vessels so blood can move freely.
Almost all of us are magnesium-deficient today, so supplementing with a high-quality magnesium supplement is not optional.
We recommend Dr Sandra Cabots Magnesium Complete.
It is essential.
Keeping your blood moving: contrary to what the name suggests, blood thinners do not actually thin your blood.
They only prevent clotting.
What really keeps your blood flowing is proper hydration and proper protein digestion, so your red blood cells stay separate instead of clumping together.
Systemic enzymes like serrapeptase go further still, helping to clean up existing arterial plaque.
Vascuzyme is a comprehensive multi-enzyme formula containing nattokinase and serrapeptase, along with a blend of protease, amylase, papain, trypsin, lipase, chymotrypsin, bromelain, quercetin and rutin.
When taken away from food, it supports healthy blood circulation and vessel function and helps the body clear old scar tissue and unwanted proteins from the bloodstream, making it a wonderful ally for your heart and arteries.
And for those wanting to support their circulatory system at a deeper level, chelation therapy with EDTA is worth exploring.
EDTA has been recommended for many years to help get rid of heavy metal toxic overload.
Stress is one of the biggest hidden drivers of heart disease, and it rarely gets the attention it deserves.
When your nervous system is stuck in fight or flight, your body pumps out stress hormones that constrict your blood vessels, raise your blood pressure and keep your whole system on alert, even when there is no real danger.
A healing session gives your body permission to finally exit that state.
It helps release tension held in your tissues, calms your nervous system, and allows your heart rate and blood pressure to return to normal.
Many of our clients report a physical shift in the very first session: lightness in the chest, a slower breath, and a sense of coming home to their own bodies.
Your heart was never meant to carry the weight of chronic stress alone.
Booking a session is one of the simplest and most powerful things you can do for your heart’s long-term health.
Your action steps:
- Book in for a Full Health Audit or Biomedx session so we can see exactly what is going on inside your body
- Drink one liter of water for every thirty kilograms of body weight, starting first thing in the morning
- Add a quarter teaspoon of Himalayan salt to every liter of water
- Increase your magnesium through food, Epsom salt baths, and supplementation
- Move towards a ketogenic lifestyle built on healthy fats
- Take Beetflow for bile flow and blood vessel health
- Support digestion with enzymes and Betaine HCL
- Consider chelation therapy with EDTA for long-term circulatory health
- Book in for a healing session with Pete, Grada or Caleb
Your body is not broken.
It is blocked.
And every blockage can be addressed once we know where to look.
