It was a Sunday afternoon in Turners Beach.

Pete and Ben had spent the whole day on a digger at Mieke’s place, our daughter, tearing up her back garden to create a basketball court for her husband Paul and the kids.

Mountains of dirt everywhere.

Tree stumps hauled out.

The digger had just gone back to the hire place.

The kind of day that leaves you bone tired and quietly satisfied.

Mieke’s 8 year old daughter Nova was riding her little step bike.

She fell.

A harmless little fall.

Nothing dramatic.

The kind of fall kids have a hundred times and bounce straight back up from.

But Nova didn’t settle.

And Nova is not one to complain.

Neither is Mieke.

So they took her for an X-ray.

Cracked arm.

From a harmless fall.

On the same day the earth had been moved.

And the moment Mieke rang to tell me, memories and some old mum guilt flooded back.

Of course.

Because I had been here before.

Thirty years earlier, Mieke was about 5 years old.

We were living at the end of a 2-kilometer gravel road at the edge of the wilderness in northeast Tasmania.

Six kids ranging from 15 down to 3.

We maintained that road ourselves.

Pete would hire truckloads of gravel from a company in Scottsdale, 40 kilometers away, and spend all day grading enormous piles of gravel down the hill with the tractor and blade on his days off from nursing at Scottsdale Hospital.

It cost a fortune we didn’t have.

At the end of one of those long, exhausting days of road work, the older kids had rigged up a broom handle as a makeshift seesaw.

Mieke was sitting on it when someone let go.

She fell 50 centimeters onto soft grass.

She came in crying, and we were tired, so we told her to lie down on the couch until the pain went away.

Only it didn’t go away.

We couldn’t even take her that evening because our freshly graveled road was too soft to drive on.

So we waited.

The next morning, Pete smoothed it out just enough to inch our way through to the bitumen and drive to Scottsdale for an X-ray.

She had cracked her arm.

From a 50-centimeter fall onto soft grass.

On the same day, the earth had been moved.

And now, a generation later, Nova.

This is not a coincidence.

This is ancestral trauma replaying itself through the body of a child who was not even born when the original wound was laid down.

The body remembers what the mind has long forgotten.

And it will keep replaying the story until someone in the lineage stops and says: This ends here.

I see this every single week in the clinic.

Here are just a handful of the stories I carry.

  • Pete had a client whose grandmother had attempted suicide multiple times.

When Pete traced back the origins of his client’s patterns using the Miracle Method, the whole story surfaced.

She had what we call anti-life programs running beneath the surface.

They were showing up as alopecia, her hair falling out in clumps.

Pete worked with her using energy healing and cleared the inherited programs at the root.

Her hair grew back.

  • Caleb had a client with feet that ached constantly, no matter what she did or how many podiatrists she visited.

When Caleb worked with her, he discovered that her grandfather had lost his leg in World War 2.

He had never been able to speak about it.

He had carried that wound to his grave, and it had kept traveling through the line.

When Caleb cleared the ancestral energy, her feet stopped hurting.

Immediately.

She is still going strong today.

  • I had a client who had been grinding her teeth since childhood.

Jaw clenched so tight she had cracked several molars and been through more mouthguards than she could count.

When we went into the ancestral field together, what came up was a line of women who had bitten their tongues.

Literally and figuratively.

Women who had swallowed their rage, their grief, their truth, because there was no safe place to speak it.

Once we cleared the pattern, her jaw released.

She cried.

She said she hadn’t realized how long she had been holding that.

  • Another client came to me with a terror of water she could not explain.

She had never had a traumatic experience with water herself.

But when we went into the lineage, her great-grandfather had drowned.

The fear had passed down like a hand-me-down coat, worn by each generation without ever knowing where it came from.

  • A young man came to see Caleb with chronic gut pain that had stumped every specialist he had seen.

When Caleb worked with his ancestral line, he found a grandfather who had survived a famine.

The gut had never received the message that the famine was over.

It was still bracing.

Still rationing.

Still in survival mode three generations later.

When Caleb cleared it, the young man said it felt like he could finally exhale.

I know this territory personally, too.

In deep meditation, I have been in my mother’s body.

I have seen, with my mind’s eye, the metalwork in her spine.

My mother had scoliosis, and at 17, her spine was surgically straightened and fused with a fibula bone and metal screws.

A trauma so enormous, with no support to integrate it.

No one to sit with her in the enormity of what her body had endured.

And when I was 43, I had my own catastrophic accident on the 6th of January 2006.

Different story.

Same thread in the lineage.

I have done enormous amounts of healing work on myself and I continue to nurture my inner world every day.

Because I know that what we do not heal, we pass on.

And it is so often the grandchildren who carry what the grandparents could not face.

You know me as the author, coach, teacher, and healer at the Purple House.

You know Pete as the cellular health expert with 25 years of nursing behind him, the logical brain behind Purple House, the man who will look at your live blood under a microscope and tell you things about your body that will stop you in your tracks.

You know Caleb as the gut health guru and founding father of Love Your Guts.

But did you know that we are first and foremost energy healers?

That is the backbone of everything we do.

Yes, we do all the rest.

We keep up with the latest health research.

Yes, Pete brings the science, and Caleb brings the gut expertise, and I bring in the noisy stories of our farm animals and grandkids.

But underneath all of it, running through every session, is energy healing.

And I want to be very clear about what that means, because we are not Reiki practitioners waving their hands and hoping for the best.

We are laser-focused, surgical precision energy healers.

We do not waste time.

We do not waste your energy or ours.

We go straight to the root, find the pattern, clear it, and you feel the difference.

That is our standard, and we hold it every single time.

The results speak for themselves every single week in our clinic.

If you are carrying something you cannot explain.

If your health keeps circling back to the same place, no matter what you try.

If you look at your children or grandchildren and see your own unresolved stories playing out in their bodies and lives.
