My client, Margaret, was 67 years old, recently retired, and sat down in my treatment room feeling deflated.
She had just come from her GP.
Her blood pressure had been sitting in the 150s over 95 for the past six months.
Her doctor had been patient.
Given her time to try lifestyle changes.
But at her last appointment, he had placed a prescription on the desk between them and said, very kindly, that it was time.
She had taken the prescription but was looking for more information.
“I don’t want to be on medication for the rest of my life,” she told me. “My mother was on blood pressure tablets for 22 years. By the end, she was exhausted all the time, her ankles were swollen, and she just sat in her chair and waited. I watched her disappear slowly. I promised myself I would never do that.”
I have heard versions of this story hundreds of times.
People watching a parent slowly fade behind a cocktail of medications, becoming a managed version of themselves rather than a living, breathing, fully alive human being.
And carrying that same fear for decades until the day they find themselves sitting in the same doctor’s office, looking at the same prescription pad.
I told Margaret I was not going to promise her miracles, but we were going to take a good look under the bonnet of her car, meaning her body.
We talked about her stress levels, which were higher than she was admitting.
Retirement had not brought the rest she expected.
There was a family situation she was carrying that was making her feel tense.
Her sleep was broken so she never felt truly rested.
Her digestion had been sluggish for years.
And when I looked at her history, I could see the pattern clearly.
Her body had been running on overdrive for a long time, and her cardiovascular system was bearing the weight of it.
Here is what I explained to her.
One of the most overlooked contributors to rising blood pressure is something called fibrin buildup.
Fibrin is a sticky protein your body produces as part of its natural healing process.
But when it accumulates over decades, it coats your arterial walls, restricts blood flow, and makes your heart work harder than it needs to.
It does not show up on a standard blood pressure reading.
Your GP will rarely mention it.
But it is there, quietly narrowing the space your blood needs to flow freely, in almost everyone whose numbers have been creeping upward for years.
No amount of walking around the block is going to dissolve it.
What does dissolve it are specific enzymes.
And this is exactly where Vascuzyme comes in.
Vascuzyme is the supplement I recommended to Margaret, and it is one I take myself every single day.
It is a systemic enzyme formula unlike anything else I have found.
It contains lumbrokinase, one of the most powerful fibrinolytic agents available, originally from earthworms and used in traditional medicine for centuries before modern research caught up with it.
It also contains nattokinase from fermented Japanese soybeans, and serrapeptase, originally from silkworms and so trusted in Europe and Japan that it has been used clinically as an anti-inflammatory for decades.
Together, these three enzymes work on multiple pathways simultaneously, dissolving fibrin, reducing inflammation, and clearing the sticky buildup that accumulates in your vessels over time.
And all of this sits alongside bromelain, papain, rutin, quercetin, and a beautifully designed blend of plant enzymes that support your body at a cellular level.
This is not a single-ingredient supplement.
This is a whole team working together to restore softness and healthy flow to your arteries.
We also worked on reducing Margaret’s stress with energy medicine and cleared emotional blocks in our sessions together.
Taking magnesium every evening helped her sleep better.
Margaret checked her blood pressure at the pharmacy every week.
In the first two weeks, nothing dramatic happened.
- Week three, she noticed it sitting at 143.
- Week four, 138.
- By week six she was consistently reading in the 128 to 132 range.
She was not ready to declare victory.
But she was smiling.
Three months after that first appointment, Margaret’s GP took her blood pressure at her scheduled review.
It read 126 over 78.
He looked at her, slightly puzzled, and asked what she had changed.
She told him she had been working with a natural therapist.
He nodded slowly and said, “Well. Whatever you’re doing, it’s working. Let’s hold off on the medication for now.”
She sent me a message that evening.
Just two lines.
“I didn’t fill the prescription, Peter. I think I’m going to be okay.”
I still have that message.
Margaret is not unusual.
Her story is one I could tell you hundreds of times over.
What changes for people is not just the blood pressure reading.
It is the feeling of having their body back.
Being an active participant in their own health rather than a passive recipient of management.
That is what we are here for at the Purple House.
And it is exactly why I believe so deeply in giving your body the right tools, at the right time, before the clock starts counting down.
Vascuzyme is $106.95 for 90 capsules.
Take one capsule daily, 90 minutes after eating on an empty stomach, so the enzymes can work systemically rather than just digestively.
If you have been watching your numbers creep upward, if you have a family history that worries you, or if you simply want to do the most intelligent thing possible for your arteries right now, this is where I would start.
And if you want to go even deeper into understanding your body at a cellular level, we have something very special coming up.
Sunday 21st June is the Winter Solstice.
The shortest day of the year in the Southern Hemisphere.
The day the light begins to return.
We chose this day on purpose.
Too many people are living in the dark about their own health.
Too many have been told everything looks fine when their body is quietly struggling.
On the shortest day of the year, we are shining a light on your cells.
Pete’s Winter Solstice Cell Health Masterclass is a three-hour morning that will change the way you see your own body.
Your morning includes Pete’s deep teaching on cellular health, biohacking, and cell regeneration, covering what your cells need, what is stopping them, and what changes everything.
You will see a live demonstration of live and dried blood microscopy, where Pete shows you what he sees under the microscope and what it means for your health.
He will walk you through common pitfalls.
You will leave with practical take-home strategies you can begin implementing the same day.
There will be beautiful, nourishing morning tea, printed handouts, and an intimate, warm setting where your questions are genuinely welcomed.
Special offer for the first five bookings.
The first five people to secure their spot will have their own live and dried blood displayed on the big screen in our training room.
Pete will walk you through exactly what he sees in your blood in real time. It is one of those experiences that stays with you forever.
Pete is also joined at Purple House by his son Caleb Robertson, a gifted practitioner trained in blood microscopy in Melbourne and Chicago under world-leading experts.
If you cannot attend the masterclass, Pete and Caleb are both available for private Full Health Audit and Diagnostic Sessions.
This morning is for you if you are in your 40s, 50s, 60s, or beyond, and you know something is not right but have not been given real answers.
If you are tired of being told your results are normal when you feel anything but.
If you are curious about what is really happening inside your body and you are done settling for less than thriving.
You do not need any prior knowledge.
You just need to show up.
