Learn how to make your kitchen come alive with powerful, ancient fermentation practices that support modern health
This is where real healing begins
There was a time when food was not feared.
When the kitchen was not a place of confusion, but a place of simple, trusted ways … recipes that quietly transformed lives over time.
- When cabbage sat on the bench, slowly becoming something more.
- When milk rested and turned into something richer, more nourishing.
- When time itself was part of the medicine.
And nobody questioned it … because it worked.
There was an inner knowing back then, almost unspoken, but deeply understood: Life creates life.
I grew up in a home where this was simply normal.
My dad, Caleb’s opa, always had jars sitting on the bench … bubbling, fermenting, quietly transforming.
There was always something alive in that kitchen.
He would grind his own porridge, adding in his own “secret ingredients”… sometimes different every time, sometimes slightly sour, sometimes rich and earthy, but always deeply nourishing.
He loved experimenting with food, which was unusual for a man born in 1927.
But he trusted what he was doing.
And more importantly … it worked.
He kept his family strong, healthy, and well-fed through simple, creative ways of preparing food … fermenting, culturing, baking, and allowing time to do what time does best.
He lived well into his 90’s.
Strong. Fit. Clear.
Truly one of the strongest men I have ever known.
And so I carried that into my own home.
I didn’t know anything different.
This was just how we lived.
I made our own bread.
I made yoghurt from raw milk from the neighbour.
There were always jars of sauerkraut fermenting on the bench …
The kids used to call it “silage”, but they ate it.
I made kombucha as well… and I remember clearly how it helped my little daughter recover from shingles.
This was not something we questioned.
It was simply part of life.
Caleb grew up in this environment.
And in many ways, it became essential for him.
He was born with severe skin issues, including psoriasis, and from a very young age he had to be incredibly aware of what he could and could not eat.
He had to walk the talk.
And looking back now, I often think … how different his life might have been if he had not been born into this family.
Because the common path would have been creams, suppression, and long-term medication.
Instead, he learned early on how deeply food affects the body.
And how powerful it can be when you get it right.
But somewhere along the line, outside of homes like ours … this tradition was lost.
We were taught to clean, sterilise, remove, and control.
We were told that bacteria were dangerous.
That they were the enemy.
That they needed to be eliminated.
And slowly, without realising it … people became disconnected from the very intelligence that once sustained us.
And now…
So many sit in doctors’ surgeries wondering why their bodies are struggling.
Why digestion falters.
Why they feel bloated, gassy, foggy, inflamed.
Because something essential has been lost.
And it is not complicated.
Your microbiome … is starving.
We are meant to live in relationship with billions upon billions of bacteria.
As many as the stars in a clear night sky.
And yet, inside so many bodies today, the lights have gone dim.
Your body is not asking for more restriction.
It is asking for a different relationship with food.
It is asking for nourishment that is alive, vibrant, and full of energy.
And this is what fermentation offers.
Not as a trend.
Not as a health fad.
But as a return to something that has quietly supported human health for generations.
So now, it feels only natural, that Caleb is teaching this.
Not from theory.
But from lived experience.
From necessity.
From growing up in it and continuing it.
During Caleb’s Fearless Fermenting Workshop, you will be guided back into this world.

A world where your kitchen becomes a place of creation again.
A place where food is not feared… but understood.
A place where healing begins in the most practical, grounded way.
You will learn how to make:
- Kimchi
- Kefir
- Kvass
- Sauerkraut
- And many other powerful, staple fermented foods
You will walk away with a recipe book for life…
And the confidence to recreate these foods in your own kitchen, bringing flavour, vitality, and energy back to your table.
Because you are not separate from your healing.
And your kitchen, can become your medicine.
- A place of reconnection.
- A place of restoration.
- A place where ancient wisdom quietly comes back to life.
