Good health is like air.

We take it completely for granted until we run out of breath.

Imagine you are drowning in the ocean.

All you can think about is how to get air into your lungs.

Nothing is more important.

If you are lucky to survive, you will probably never take life for granted again.

That’s the same with people who have had a health scare, for instance, a heart attack or a cancer diagnosis.

Your deepest wish is to have your old life back, only healthier this time!

Most people put Great Health as the number 1 on their wish list.

But, then life takes over and we forget about it.

We only pay lip service to the fact that we want to be fit healthy.

Until you get a health scare.

Can you relate to this?

I had many ups and downs with my health after being hit by a truck in 2006.

All I wanted was to be back home with Pete and the kids and be able to fold the washing or do the dishes, which epitomized ordinary life for me.

That was the size of my bucket list at the time.

I remember coming home in the ambulance and being wheeled into my own kitchen.

The sun was shining through the windows, and all the colours, plants, books, furniture and cherished pictures almost burnt a hole into my retina, there was so much to take in.

I had made it home!

Then that wasn’t enough.

I wanted to be able to walk again.

You already know the rest… today I take my independence completely for granted, except for when I see old photos of 2006.

So, let’s get back to NOT taking your health for granted.

Because, you really shouldn’t!

Market research shows that there is an epidemic of diabetes, insulin resistance, dementia, cancer and heart disease, to name a few.

All these conditions hit people hard from age 50 onwards, but what you need to realize is that these processes literally start in your twenties and thirties.

So that’s when you need to be caring about your health, in your twenties and thirties!

Don’t leave it until it’s too late.

It generally takes a good amount of time, say twenty years, for your body to break down, and for you to receive a cancer diagnosis or heart disease.

So, when you think about it, this means that our lifestyle doesn’t kill us fast enough!

Because, all these diseases are caused by lifestyle and are almost preventable.

For instance, if you were allergic to eggs, and they closed up your airways if you ate them, avoiding eggs would be top of your priority list.

If we thought of our lifestyle as ‘deadly poison’ we would do the same.

But, because, it sneaks up on us very slowly, bit by bit, we keep ignoring it.

Once disease has become firmly established in your body, it’s harder to change.

However, it can be done!

Back in our great grandparents’ days, people didn’t die from their lifestyle.

They died from poverty, starvation, infections, like TB, or pneumonia, or appendicitis.

So they had to be very mindful of staying healthy, because a normal cold could turn into deadly pneumonia.

Peter’s grandfather, Jack Robertson, lost his mum, dad and two siblings to TB when he was 3.

He was orphaned and taken in by family.

That was the order of the day, so today, we are incredibly lucky that those odds are not stacked against us.

Today, we die from degenerative diseases that are avoidable.

Did you know that 88% of Americans are metabolically unhealthy?

To be metabolically unhealthy means that your cells are not firing up properly.

The cells are suffering.

Seeing that we are nothing more than 50 trillion cells, this is quite scary.

However, there is LOTS you can do to improve your health and boost your fitness.

For instance a six year study of 8280 men showed that those who drank more than 5 glasses of water per day had less than half the risk of fatal heart attacks than those who drank less than 2 glasses per day.

Men who took a statin drug (cholesterol lowering drug) for primary prevention, had NO benefit regarding fatal heart attacks.

Your body is really the smartest technology in the world.

It fixes everything for us.

All day long, we experience wear and tear and all night long our body repairs itself.

But, it will break down eventually.

It might take 20 years for your body to break down, but why would you let that happen when you have the choice to live a healthy and long life?

We may not die from infections or starvation today, but now we eat chemicals, processed foods, and inhale toxic air, and we sit in front of our computers and have 5G towers.

So, we have to protect ourselves from damage.

We can turn things around and give ourselves a chance to have quality of life till well into our 90’s and beyond.

Of course I am going somewhere with this.

I am going to suggest that you book in for a Full Health Audit with Pete today!

During the Full Health Audit you will have all your questions and health niggles answered.

Pete will do in-depth testing that will determine the exact health status of your cells.

You will discover more about yourself than you could have ever dreamt off!

The best thing about Pete is that he is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to cellular health, having studied it daily for decades.

And, before being in private practice, Pete worked as a nurse for twenty years, so he has seen it all.

For now, start drinking more water, increase your minerals by adding healthy unprocessed salt to your water, increase your good fats intake (butter, coconut oil and meat fats) while you reduce your carbohydrates.
