Raw cakes and desserts are much easier to create than traditional cakes, as long as you follow the right steps. Lisanne will show you exactly how.

Here is a sneak preview of the first page of your recipe book…. It’s a healthy chocolate drink that you can use if Christmas turns out to be cold…

Superfood Hot Choc

 Raw hot chocolate: serves two

6 Pitted dates

3-4 cups nut milk or coconut milk

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon*

1/8 teaspoon cayenne powder (careful with this…)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 tablespoons raw cacao powder

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1/2 teaspoon Maca* powder

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Heat gently in your thermy or over the stove before serving.

Cacao’s best friends:

*Cinnamon; It is a great source of the mineral chromium which helps balance blood-sugar levels. If you sweeten your cacao drinks, cinnamon will help to balance the effects of sugar on your bloodstream.

*Maca; Originating as a radish-like root in Peru, Maca powder is used to enhance memory, fight stomach cancer, alleviate depression, ease menstrual pain, boost the immune system, as well as fight sterility and other reproductive and sexual disorders. It blends beautifully with Cacao :)

Raw Cacao. Pronounced [ka-kow]. Rhymes with “cow.”
