HAND REFLEXOLOGY ESSENTIAL OIL EVENING
Monday, July 9th at 7pm
@ 47 Wilmot Rd, Forth (Purple House Wellness Centre)
Did you know there are 7000 points on each hand that are like nerve endings which are connected to every part of your body? When you massage them they activate healing energy to those areas. There are even points that help you stay slim during the chilly season if you activate them for 5 minutes every day. Combine the best of both worlds by using essential oils on your hands…. These oils take only a few seconds to get into the bloodstream!
After rubbing my own hands today I realized that my shoulder points were actually very sore. Then I remembered that whenever I have a massage I am always told off about my tight muscles in my upper body. Typical isn’t it? I am never conscious of tension there but that doesn’t mean everything is fine! Eventually the weakest link might wear out if it doesn’t get any TLC and then I might ‘suddenly’ wake up with a frozen shoulder ‘out of the blue’. Prevention is better than cure, I thought as I rubbed my shoulder points till they felt better. That is when I got the idea to do a pop up hand reflexology class on Monday night.
I will share the key points that will help you stay strong and fit during the winter when your body is fighting off bugs, the cold, comfort food and not enough sunshine.
I intend to use some of the most common essential oils which should be part of everyone’s daily routine, along with drinking plenty of water, eating a teaspoon of full spectrum salt to keep up your minerals, having your iodine drops and eating plenty of good fats (think coconut oil and butter) as well as proteins. I forgot to mention daily exercise or getting out into the fresh air, but I guess that is the easiest part….you can even rub your reflex points while you walk!
This is what I love best about hand reflexology:
- It costs you nothing, it is completely free
- You always get results, sometimes instantly
- It is very convenient because your hands are never very far away
- Nothing feels better than a hand massage, even if you have to do it yourself
- It’s a great way to implement your essential oils
- It gives you an instant surge of energy
- You can even do it while you watch a movie, wait in a queue or listen to a conversation
- You get to know your own body through connecting with your hands
On the hands you will find points for asthma, IBS, depression, hot flushes, nausea, hangovers, headaches, impotence, vertigo, ringing in the ears, allergies and much more. You can even promote a healthy mop of hair by rubbing specific points.
On Monday I will introduce you to some of these points and address concerns you might have as well as share with you how Essential Oils can support your healthy immune system, boost your metabolism and help you to remain happy and relaxed. Apply what you learn on Monday night for 5 minutes each day and you will develop an emotional resilience you have never felt before.
You will be in good hands! See you there, Grada
