Why is allergy testing important?
Our client Mary was allergic to gluten, sugar, dairy, alcohol, bananas, potatoes and tomatoes.
Once we discovered what she was allergic to, and she went on an ‘allergy free diet’, the nightmare was over.
Within a few days, she had regained a sense of wellbeing, was able to concentrate and her aches and pains went away.
“What frightened me the most, was that despite being so sick, I had no symptoms of indigestion, or triggers of food allergies, and I didn’t have a clue why I was so ill”, Mary informed us during her second session at the Purple House.
Eight years ago, during a staff party, her heart began to race, her arms and legs became weak and shaky, and within minutes, she had a seizure.
Then she came down with flu like symptoms.
Her GP ran a series of tests, and they all came back negative.
Instead of getting over the flu, Mary’s symptoms gradually got worse.
She often had pressure in her head, leading to mini fits, experienced weakness in her limbs.
Her work/life balance went out the door, because she had no energy, and any extra stress would cause a seizure.
In the end, after MRI’s, scans and blood tests, she was diagnosed with an auto immune disorder, like Lupus, but they couldn’t be 100% sure.
She was prescribed steroids, methotrexate and seizure medication.
Mary’s nightmare continued for many years, until one day, she decided to take matters into her own hands and visited our facilities.
Together with Pete, Mary got to see what the inside of her body looked like, by observing her live and dried blood under the microscope.
Amongst other issues, her blood research revealed evidence of severe food allergies.
Pete was able to pin point exactly which foods and drinks were the culprit, and Mary went home with her list of foods and drinks to avoid, as well as the Ultimate Vitality Boost to restore her digestive system.
The rest is history.
Or to put it in Mary’s own words, her nightmare was over!
Unfortunately Mary’s story is far from unique.
We are seeing an epidemic of allergies, with reactions ranging from mild rashes, or hives to life threatening anaphylaxis.
Swelling can also affect the throat making breathing difficult.
A massive histamine release during anaphylaxis can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure, with people losing consciousness.
Some of the most common food allergies are gluten, hen’s eggs, cow’s milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, fish and shellfish.
What most people don’t realise is that food allergies are often one of the root causes of their physical and mental issues.
Once the offending foods/drinks are avoided, the body gets a window period of rest, and the immune system is able to do a huge RESET and this is the best time to start supplementing with the Ultimate Vitality Boost, to rebuild the body from the inside out.
Diseases and problems can take decades to develop, but thankfully for us, it’s often a matter of weeks, or a few months, to return to health.
In the video below, Pete and I share some astounding stories of the hidden symptoms of gluten allergy
