Recently, I’ve had a number of people walk through our doors feeling completely and utterly exhausted.
Not just “a bit tired,” but waking in the morning with no energy, even after what should have been a full night’s sleep …

One of the most overlooked truths about the human body is that it is deeply rhythmic.
- Just like the seasons move through spring, summer, autumn, and winter …
- Just like the moon cycles through its phases …
- Just like the ocean responds to unseen forces …
Your body is constantly moving through cycles of activity and restoration.
You may have noticed this:
- Some days you feel clear, energised, and alive.
- Other days feel heavier, slower, harder.
There is nothing wrong with you.
This is part of being human.
We are influenced by daily rhythms, monthly rhythms, and even environmental rhythms.
There is a reason flowers open with the morning light and gently close again at night …
And there is a reason your body is designed to do something very similar.
Deep within your body, something extraordinary is happening every single day.
Every cell has a membrane … a protective, intelligent boundary that decides what comes in and what goes out.
During the night, when your body is meant to be in rest and repair mode, these membranes naturally become more closed, allowing the cell to restore, replenish, and rebuild its energy.
Then, as the day begins, they open again allowing nutrients in, waste out, and energy to be used for living your life.
This is your natural night and day energy cycle.
Here is where things begin to go wrong for so many people.
If the cells stay too open for too long, they cannot properly restore themselves.
Energy leaks and your body becomes depleted.
If the cells stay too closed, nutrients cannot enter properly.
Energy cannot be created.
The system becomes sluggish and underpowered.
In both cases, the result feels the same…
- Exhaustion.
